Ormiston South Parade Academy
February 2026We have worked with Ormiston South Parade Academy since 2018. The children engaged well in the sessions, the reception children in particular enjoyed learning about their bodies and doing the actions along with our Facilitator. Key stage 2 asked some great anonymous questions, all of which were answered age appropriately.
Staff feedback
“All three members of staff had great delivery of content. They formed lovely relationships and a great rapport with the boys. I think it was really powerful that the male colleague delivered the section on periods. This is great for boys to see.”
L. Kirk, Year 6 Class Teacher & Assistant Principal
“The staff are fantastic, they speak to the children ensuring they are engaged and listening. Children enjoyed the session. “
A. Brace, Year 1 Teacher.
“Information was pitched really well which also included the children with SEND. It was easy for them to understand with help from clear vocab and appropriate images – it was great to see checking for understanding. Including film ratings which reinforces what we teach in school.”
K. Atha, Inclusion Teacher.
“Fantastic integration and informative. Children felt secure and safe to have conversation and voice opinions.”
K. Miles, Year 4 Teacher.
