Ormiston Meadows Academy
May 2023We have been visiting Ormiston Meadows for Six Years and always receive a lovely welcome from staff and pupils alike. Having taken part in these sessions year on year the children speak confidently about their bodies using the correct scientific language.
Teachers’ feedback
“These sessions have helped me to confidently teach puberty objectives for PSHE. Without these sessions I wouldn’t be as confident teaching an important element of growing up.” Jess Ward, Year 5 Teacher & Mental Health Lead.
“Thank you for a briliant lesson, it was interesting and informative in an age appropriate way. The children were very focused, taking it all in.” Mrs Eagle, Year 5 Teacher.
“Such important and valuable information for our pupils, delivered in a very child friendly sensitive manner. As a teacher and parent of young children myself, I was really impressed with the material and delivery. Thank you!”
Mrs McEwan, Music Teacher.
